Christopher Tidmore

Christopher Tidmore enjoys an extensive background in public relations, journalism, fundraising, and in commercial insurance & surety.

He has served in public outreach positions for several non-profits and issue-based causes--and as a senior advisor to two U.S. Senatorial campaigns. Having hosted one of Louisiana’s top political talkshows, political blogs and newspaper columns, he currently acts as Political Editor of The Louisiana Weekly, the state’s oldest and most respected African-American Newspaper.

He is also co-founder & co-owner of the Garden District Book Shop. New Orleans, LA.

Besides his political journalism, Tidmore has done extensive travel writing, having just completed a six month drive from London to Singapore, via the Silk Road through Central Asia and China, then across Indonesia, and ultimately from Darwin to Sydney across Australia. In fact, he has visited 51 countries in the last ten years.
